Greg Purvis, a 55 year-old life-long resident of Indiana, was born and raised in Kokomo. A graduate of Kokomo High School, he then continued his education at Ball State University where he obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in political science and history in 1974. He then attended law school at the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis, where he graduated in 1977. 

 

Greg is employed with the law firm of Spangler, Jennings & Dougherty, P.C., in their office at Keystone at the Crossing.  He is active in the community, serving his third term on the Sandstone Homeowners Association Board of Directors, and is currently the Secretary.  Greg is also active as a precinct committeeperson and in the Hamilton County Democrat Club.  A former resident of Indianapolis, Greg was a Democratic candidate for City-County Council in 1979. 

 

Greg has two grown children, and four grandchildren.
